Be careful out there!
The "Kurus" as they call have scattered in several groups. If you don't know, Kurus are cannibals and eat human flesh in cause of severe hunger. Animals are nowhere to be found in this entire city, and they found human flesh as their alternative, should we say? If you ever find someone losing balance while walking in the middle of nowhere, quickly run as fast as you could for it might be a Kuru.
Do not go on the woods. A lot of them are there, searching for fresh corpses to eat. People are reporting human skeletons have been scattered anywhere too, might be leftovers, isn't it? They are as clever as us humans -- they set traps to catch their prey and bite them a few times, making the victim weak and infected.
Symptoms include:
Ambulant Stage: Exhibits unsteady stance and gait, decreased muscle control, tremors, dysarthria and deterioration of speech.
Sedentary Stage: Incapability of walking without support, severe tremors, emotionally unstable and loss of muscle coordination.
Terminal Stage: Total paleness, incapability of sitting without support and talking, severe ataxia, difficulty in swallowing, unresponsive to surroundings, and acquires ulcerations (sores with pus + necrosis)
An infected person usually dies within three months or two years after the symptoms. As of now, the disease is still incurable.
