Entry for katress' poetry jam
Based off "Noc na werandzie" by Jerzy Harasymowicz
For judging purposes, me and Google Translator prepared this poem for posting here (I translated it and removed like 3 words)
"Night on the porch" By Jerzy Harasymowicz, Google Translate and PsioPsia001 (XD)
Only the navy mountains' jug
Carries the house on its head
Deep in the lunar lake
In the meadow swims a horse
The porch on fog's light poles,
A choir of mosquitos by the table
The lake goes up in smoke,
Goes up in smoke the memory of a nation
And a candle floats in the plate of the night
Far away flies an eagle-owl
In the great silence the lake
Embroids white lilies
Embroids the ruler's crown
And victory staffs in their hands
Horse's head and its mane
King's dress rides across the lake
And the snow-white throne is made of lilies
And the armies came from these lilies
The throne floats on the lake
And a tent floats and the flag
No one lights the candle
I searched for Poland with a candle
Over my head, my attic
Flies the comet of centuries
And like the sweet flag's whistles
Old battles keep going in me
A poppy field behind the dirt-track
Burns in the lake like a royal banner
Everything has to be said:
There's battle loam in the depths of soul
Like armies' night watches
Rhytm and rhymes call each other
Crickets walked through my sleepless heart
All night, like an army on horses
And the moon already sleeps
Rocking in the table's saddle
I noticed I created a kind of a wordplay here - with flags and sweetflag (that has a different name and another wordplay in the poem)
I warned you about poor image quality...it's from my phone, I found it in an old book and it's nowhere else
Sorry for inconvenience, but I know literally 1 English poem...
+this one has lots of beautiful descriptions I wanted to use for a skin
