The war, so long and harsh, had deminished every last ressource available to the kin of the world. The dragons, so strong and fierce, had feasted upon their being, ever since the original invasion plan had failed. Their only saving grace had been the very cold winters, that had left the dragons weak and quivering. Only way of victory: Defeating the dragon king, so splendid and mighty, but also deadly. The plan: a final battle the the southern glacier, in the hopes of sealing off the incredible beast.

A dragon down and defeated, buried in the large chunks of ice from the blown up glacier. Victory! The dragon tyrant is no more, the allies live to see another day, where their rule is in place. Sealing the dragon away forever, by pouring water onto the ice, long live the humans. Days turn to weeks turn to years turn to decades.

But what if the dragon king wasn't dead? What if he merely laid dormant, in an undead state in the ice, ready to finish his work in the future. The antarctic explorers that found him, were the first to experience, the reestablishment of the dragon empire, the reawaking of the dragon king!
