I searched up "Future 2121" and the first thing that came out was that 2121 is an angel number. Angel numbers are numbers that "work in accordance with the tenets of numerology, which upholds the notion that each number is connected to a certain vibrational energy or frequency that encompasses meaning beyond its sheer numeric value."
I don't believe in angel numbers that much, and this skin has no connection to that either, but it did give me an idea to design an angel-like robot or cyborg. In all honesty, my view of the future isn't that great and perhaps that stems from a combination of my pessimistic views and the events that had transpired over the last few months all over the world, but I imagine that a century from now, things would only get worse. We'd live in a dystopian society ruled by technology, its more malefic inventions, and those who sit comfortably in plush seats of power to command them. One such creation is this thing; I don't have a set name for it or anything, but for now let's just call them Angels. I knew I wanted to make something with a cold and authoritative aura that could rule with an iron fist, but would also appear to be deceptively beautiful and something that you could trust. Robots fit my first criteria; they have no emotions and certainly no moral compass, so they'd have no problem carrying out orders that are certainly questionable and sometimes, inhumane. The idea of angels sort of fit my second criteria; they are beautiful to look at (the portrayals of them at least and yes, even the eldritch kind) and were figures that you could somehow trust. I guess what is twisted about this is that these Angels were formerly humans, and this was their fate upon not repenting for their sins or crimes—their soul and humanity perished when they were fashioned new appendages and a redesigned body. Now they are just vessels of order and destruction. Their purpose? Keep everyone in line and annihilate the outliers. A bit of "human" is left to serve as a grim reminder to the rest of the populace of what awaits them should they disobey.
