This is Hei-droh. Hei-droh is a Hyfordian from the Natcha galaxy. Hyford is a planet nearly completely covered in water, with the only island being just big enough for a small city for travelers to rest in. Hyfordians mostly still live on Hyford, in several underwater settlements (the largest Harfra, and the smallest Nofra).

In Hyfordian culture, there is one religion, that all follow. The religions beliefs are interestng, to say the least. The religion states that originally about one third of Hyford was covered in land, and the Hyfordians did not live in the water, but on land. The religion states that the destroyer of this world was known as Ro-maan. Ro-maan lived on the land, in a small town. He saw the damage that all the big cities and productions of the original Hyfordians, and it angered him. Ro-maan went to the leaders of this world and begged them to stop their madness. But there was no stopping them. The leaders had been drenched in greed, born of the productions of a flawed society. They cast Ro-maan aside, and ignored his pleas. Ro-maan became so enraged, he sunk all the cities into the sea, and made it so all the good people in the word could live under the sea with the cities. After that, Ro-maan floated off into the sky, leaving the Hyfordians who were corrupted on a small island with no food. Since then, all people have been looking to the sky, waiting for their saviour to return and grant them freedom from the water.

Hei-droh is a young Hyfordian who is very similar to most others, yet from a young age it was noted that he had a tendency to want to go off on 'adventures' to 'places where there is no water'. This is a very strange mindset in Hyfordian culture, as most seem to share the idea that they should go nowhere, continue as they are, and wait for Ro-maan to return.

On one of his many trips to find the 'drylands' outside of the general place of living, Hei-droh found something that he had never seen before. Two yellow canisters with 'Preised ar cnstr' printed on it. He immediately took it home,and began experimenting with it. He soon figured out that when the strange grey piece at the top was twisted it let out a blast of sky-death (air), and quickly replicated the effects, but for water. He created a small bubble device that he attached to his breathing-holes (these are how Hyfordians breathe, and are located on the back of their necks), then swam up all the way to the island, and climbed out onto the island, clutching his makeshift water canister, and it worked! He didn't immediately die, and was fine. Over the course of several years, Hei-droh managed to massively improve the design, and even built a machine to fill the canisters with water, and a system so that whenever he was in the water, the canister would refill itself (and also filter the water so it was similar to that of Hyford).

One day, whilst Hei-droh was resting on the island (which has become known as Sky Island since these events) a ship landed on the island. Hei-droh was shocked by the arrival of this ship, and observed from a distance. When the crew of the ship were preoccupied observing the water of this planet, Hei-droh sneaked onto the ship, and then accidentally fell and ended up trapped in the cargo hold off the ship for several days (Hyfordians can survive for several days without food, as long as they have water). When he was found, the ship couldn't go back to Hyford, but could carry him along to the destination planet.

When Hei-droh reached this planet (Earth), he enrolled in a program for people who wanted to join the prestigious space exploration program, and discovered a natural affinity for communications. Hei-droh passed the program in a record time, and joined the space ship 'Overclock', the fastest ship to ever be built, under Captain Guns (also known as Gunny), and managed to become the Communications Officer on the ship, under no one on the ship barring the Captain, and the First Officer (Roman).

To this day Overclock is exploring the universe, whilst also trying to make sure that no one gets seasick... um, spacesick.

A ride on Overclock has been described, here is a direct quote, "It's completely terrifying but it's oh so exciting, he (the he in question is Doctor Smith) said I was brilliant and I could change the world. So many places I've been, there's so much more to see, we've got Galaxies and Planets and Moons!" The person this is quoted from (Security Officer Pond), also said much more, but there isn't enough room for that.

As the Hydroflorians would say 'Gar Ahwey'.
