Not very good in the pmc 2d previewer, but honestly, I don't really care; this was not made to be good in the pmc 2d previewer, but rather to be pretty accurate of myself. My preview does it more justice:

oh well, it is what it is, I still want this posted for a few reasons.
Ommissions and changes that would make this more "realistic":
No, I am not going to link a picture of myself for reference, and neither should you if you have one. I am not interested in you sharing personal stuff on this site, thank you. The skin will have no tags also. Yes, this is a self-portrait.

oh well, it is what it is, I still want this posted for a few reasons.
- I want to show off a hyper-coloured approach to a "realistic skin"
- It was fun to make and if I like the outcome I am always going to post it
- The beard shading was actually so so so much fun to do and I think it really captures it well; being grown out but not being big.
- The shirt shading uses some cool approaches for the buttoning up part that makes for some cool depth and detail that I want to show off
- The pants use some cool switching between greys, reds and yellows to ensure the colouring is akin to my real life reference.
- The colouring overall I just find cool - try removing the overlay and see how big of a difference that makes too
Ommissions and changes that would make this more "realistic":
- Facial ratios: Skins are too wide in their face to get the correct shape. Arguably you'd modify the chin a bit too, to accomodate more detail, but it is what it is.
- Ears should be further back, if this was to be realistic and this is super obvious if you do a side-profile. While this is pretty close to the right position, I'd argue a pixel further back would be more realistic, even if worse looking.
- Eyes could be so called "moving eyes" and while this approach is easy and has been known for like 10 years, it's not something I think looks good on a skin and therefore I avoided it. It's a super easy modification however.
- Arguably the boots should have less contrast, although I think this is pretty good
- Arguably my eye tone is more grey - the reason why the iris is darker is to combine the colours of the iris/lens into one pixel space, which imo works pretty well.
- I could've added glasses, but didn't care to.

Keep up the good work, dude!
When I first saw this I thought it was Andy Serkis
and, like Kawaii said, the use of overlay is nice too ^^
