Rescue you? I merely noticed you weren't properly packaged my DEAR! MAX! PICK OUT A BOW!!!

The Grinch, as depicted in the 2000 movie by Ron Howard, Starring Jim Carrey (great comedian). The Grinch is a character created by Dr. Seuss. He first appeared in 1957 in, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Since these black, white, and red origins, the Grinch has Developed an affinity for all things green, but his heart is still two sizes too small (or perhaps his shoes are too tight?). Any-who, The Grinch is an odd version of protagonist in the film. He is clearly the character you ought to hate, but it's just so hard to. Underneath his green exterior, the Grinch sees Christmas for it's excess of giving and how little it is appreciated, rather than for the joy that it is supposed to spread. For this reason, The Grinch decides he has had enough of the noise and Tyranny of the holiday and Decides he is going to put an end to it. Juxtaposed to the Grinch is Martha May (his love interest in the film) and Cindy Lou Who. These two characters embody two things absent in the Grinch: love, and holiday spirit. Both he and Cindy are fed up with the pointless giving however, and because she continually reaches out to the Grinch, develops a compassionate relationship with the girl. Martha May Holds his tiny heart in her hands and, though he doesn't know it, the Grinch holds hers.At the end of the film, Cindy goes up to see the Grinch after he has stolen her gifts to show him that she is happy without them. This gesture combined with the Who's singing down in Whoville causes his grinchy old heart to grow ten sizes and He returns the gifts to the Who's. Additionally, The Grinch and Martha go on to (presumably) have a relationship that they have always wanted (the poor Mayor).
