Veran first tricks Link by possesing Impa and getting past the barrier that only Link can remove.  She managed to capture Nayru, and took control of her body. She then could travel back in time and change the course of events. She then tricked Queen Ambi to build the Black Tower for a different purpose. She still has several forms, including her true form to go through...(I encourage editing and posting my work, but please leave credit of originality.)
