W4R-P is a robot designed by a team of humans native to the Overworld to neutralise piglins and hoglins in the Nether. It was deployed in a warped forest. The inital plan was for the robot to familiarise itself with the Nether and it's abilities before moving on to environments with higher piglin concentrations, but this backfired due to the robot's A.I. module gaining full sentience and learning pacifism.

In the design process, various materials originating from the Nether were used alongside gold; these materials were chosen both for their high resistance to the Nether's heat and to induce a false sense of security in piglins. W4R-P was equipped with a tinted glass visor to reduce damage of the camera from intense light emitted by lava and glowstone, ear-like radio sensors to recieve commands and report information, a netherite-sealed inventory hatch, and redstone lamp on the left hand for visibility in the Nether's dark caves and to stun targets.

W4R-P was deployed on 20██-██-██, around midday. Initially it was functioning as expected, being able to recieve full control, send detailed reports, and switch to automatic control whenever needed. However, around ██ days after being deployed, the team managing W4R-P remotely from the Overworld suddenly lost all control of the robot, and were unable to recieve reports from it. Members of the team speculated that this was possibly caused by the central module being infested by warped fungus, as the heat inside was suitable for its growth. After working tirelessly in solitude for weeks, one scientist was able to temporarily recieve reports from W4R-P. They found that W4R-P had become near fully infested with various materials from the nether; the blackstone core had grown streaks of gold inside, the wax centre of the arm cores had become replaced by warped hyphae, the redstone lamps were shattered and shroomlights had taken their place, and twisting vines and warped fungi were growing all around the robot. Interestingly, it was observed that warped fungus was growing in quartz, a behaviour previously unseen.

W4R-P's A.I. module was completely rewired; it had given up its original goal of destroying piglins and intead lived among them peacefully. It was hypothesised that W4R-P was not immediately met with hostility due to the gold present in multiple of its components. The scientist observing these drastic changes was "shocked and amazed" to find them, and said in an interview that the findings "changed [their] view on what sentience truly means". There are currently no plans to construct a successor to W4R-P.
