Texture pack adds two staffs with lanterns. Simple, isn't it?
In order to attach a lantern to a stick, you will need a lantern (usual or soul) and an anvil.
Rename the lantern to "staff-lantern" and you get your staff.
By the way, everything will work if you rename it to something like "Xort's staff-lantern" or "Staff-lantern of healing".
Careful, we may accidentally put it as a block. In this case, it will be necessary to "reforge" the item again.
