Which websites have you been downloading from? Minecraft Forum and PMC have generally been the most trustworthy in my opinion.

The pack looks promising, it really reminds me of Dokucraft (with the colours and overall style). But I do think the pack can improve. Most of the stone blocks look too smooth (stone slabs, stone bricks especially the chiseled block, etc...). There are also tiling errors. The cobblestone has a tiling error where you can see diagonal lines running up the block, the obsidian; you can see vertical lines, the gravel has problems where you can see repeated patterns. But the worst is the hardened clays, because you can see diagonal lines, and there is a random dark dot on the top of the block that is very obvious. Some blocks also look really blurry, like the andesite. The portal's animation is a little too fast, and it does look rather funny. Now onto the good stuff; I do love the wool, I think it's the best texture in the pack! The sun is also great. I do also like the overall muted, yet vibrant look of the pack. I would recommend looking up how to make blockstates, so that you can stop sand and blocks like that from naturally rotating and creating weird patterns.

Hope this helps you :)

Thanks for the feedback!

And yeah I agree with you on those points. I plan to go back and edit a tonne of the older textures that I made.

If you don't mind, what do you mean when you say the stone blocks look too smooth? I totally get why you say it about the chiseled variant, but how could I improve on the other textures?
Secondly, I'm not quite up to date when it comes to all the more technical lingo, so what exactly do you mean by tiling errors?

I'll also definitely look into the blockstates, I always knew it was an issue, but didn't know how to prevent it.

But overall, cheers for the feedback!

What I mean about the blocks looking too smooth, is that they need more noisey, they need to look rougher. It is stone afterall, so refrain from adding bright highlights at the corner of the texture, and roughen it up a bit. Tiling errors, are when you can see repeated shapes or lines in when a block is placed a lot. If you place a whole lot of cobblestone blocks, you will see a light diagonal line across the blocks. Textures should look seamless, like there is no pattern. If you don't want to change the core texture, then I would recommend making CTM so that there are multiple variants of the texture. Hope this clears everything up and good luck with the pack! :)
