Do I need Optifine?
No, you do not need Optifine to use Brickcraft.
However, using an optimization mod along Brickcraft is recommended.
You can see special lighting effects by using Optifine or Iris+Sodium with a proper shader activated.

Still, Brickcraft works in Vanilla Minecraft just fine. You don't need any mods!
Can I play Brickcraft on Bedrock or Pocket Edition?
No, sadly Bedrock and Pocket Edition are missing key 3D modelling features to implement 3D blocks.
Due to this limitation, it is not possible to make Brickcraft functional on these Editions or Console.
How do I install a resource pack?

It is much more simple to set everything up than you might think.
The resource pack is lagging!
Because Brickcraft only uses 3D Models to achieve its look, it can lag quite a lot at medium to higher render distances.
Try setting your render distance between two and six chunks.

Why does the resource pack cost money?
Since November 2022 I am fighting against an extremely aggressive sarcoma cancer at 21 years old.
Most of my profit goes directly towards my treatments and rent.
Without charging money, I wouldn't be able to further develop Brickcraft or even continue to live my life.

I created an account just to comment this because the mobile site is confusing and I couldn't see another way to contact but it says "compatible with Vanilla edition" I'm not sure what that means I know of Java Edition and Bedrock edition, both are considered base or vanilla versions of the game. So it kinda got my hopes up that this would be available on bedrock. I don't have a PC see I'm on console. I've seen other comments saying that it is behind a patreon and while I'm unsure how it all works, I saw another reply where you break down that you need to earn from this in order to keep the time and effort you are putting into it. So I had thought maybe another means of widening your audience would be to get it onto the minecraft marketplace where you could still charge for it and so on. I know this is a selfish idea from me as I'm on console so have limited means to get something like this but I would love to buy it, however there would be no point if it won't work for me. Hope this makes sense and doesn't come across as rude. Thank you for any and all clarification in advance, I also understand if you don't have time to explain this to me. Wishing you the best and thank you for realising this dream of mine even though I cannot myself use it
