This pack makes the painting one pixel wider and centered on the screen, thus 'fixing' the asymmetry of the overall texture. Based on the original texture for item frames revealed by Dinnerbone (which look like paintings), I merged the current painting texture with that shape and the item frame slightly to give it a fully updated look. This does not change the actual paintings, just the item.

I'm probably not going to do that, just because I used the vanilla design inside mine and prefer consistency in perspective with the item frame. =]

At some point it's been in the game for so long that it was a bit scary I suppose for JAPPA to change it in 1.14 and by now nobody else would change it officially. =]
