making texture packs isn't really that hard, you can use any pixelart app, such as aesperite (the one I use)
if you get your hands on the default minecraft textures you can just edit those and easily make textures
you'd probably be better off searching this stuff on YouTube rather than asking me because I'm not good at explaining this stuff

dang, this makes it look more realistic, and like it'd be better than a bunch of wood trying wood together...
what sort of program did you use to make this?
I really wanna make texture packs, but I don't know how or have a program to do so
