This is a small tweaks pack that adds windows to the sides of cauldrons and composters for better visibility of their contents. This sort of thing may be useful to you if have machines where composters cannot be easily visible from top-down, and you wish to be able to check how full they are without opening the f3 menu.

This project is no longer maintained, however it should continue to work for the foreseeable future.

Now includes Lava and Powder snow cauldrons!

Important note for those who use Optifine - In the latest optifine preview for 1.17, turning on the setting "Render Regions" Breaks all translucent blocks; This causes cauldrons to not render correctly if you use the pack on these previews with the setting enabled. This will likely be fixed in the coming days/weeks, but I thought I'd mention it as a heads up for those who didn't know.

I actually made and published the composter part of my pack before vanilla tweaks. I decided to add cauldrons to it as well because I wasn't very fond of the vanilla tweaks one.

The composters still work on 1.16.5, but due to the changes to cauldrons that were made in 1.17, Filled cauldrons no longer work on 1.16.x versions. I may be able to update it so that it works across both versions, but that will take time.

Yeah, its the same concept but with slightly different execution. I originally made this because I wasn't very fond of the vanilla tweaks cauldron gauge, so I decided to do my own take on the concept, and add in composters, as I actually made the composter part of my pack before Vanilla Tweaks had theirs on the site, as for a while they just had cauldrons.
