VariatedOres is a pack that makes all ores adapt to the blocks around them using Optifine!

When ores generate next to veins of Andesite, Diorite, or Granite (or blackstone in the case of nether ores) they will be given a new appearance. In some cases, this may make them easier to spot, but in others it will make they a lot more challenging to locate.

This pack will be updated for 1.17 to include copper ore, as well as the new stone types

This project is abandoned. The last version it works for is 1.16.x. If you'd like to pick it up and continue it for newer versions, feel free!

When that happens usually one with take priority over the other. I'm not sure what dictates which one overrides the other, but I think it is based on alphabetical order, meaning Andesite would overtake diorite, which would overtake granite, etc, although I would need to test it to confirm if this is true (based on how CTM works this should be the result, as usually multiple files matching the same result go by file name). When I update it to 1.17 I may add in manual overrides so that a specific one will always take priority if multiple stones are touching, as it is possible to do so.

could you update this to 1.17 and add copper as an ore type and sandstone, red sandstone, terracotta, smooth basalt, dripstone, calcite and tuff as base blocks? (smooth basalt could be for both overworld and nether ores, and it could represent basalt and smooth basalt, since basalt has two textures) i would really like to see sandstone blocks added to this list, and it frankly wouldn't make sense not to add them. also, deepslate ores probably won't be necessary now that Mojang added a script for them to generate in a similar way anyway.

other than that it's a great pack, and i probably would have used it six months ago but i just got optifine

wait you already said you would update it, lol

Yeah, Its been on hold due to other projects but I will update it. I just haven't gotten around to finish it yet.
Calcite, Tuff, Dripstone, Sandstone, red sandstone, Terracotta, and basalt are all planned, as well as copper support.

What is Stay True? Is that the name of another resource pack? If its the name of another resource pack, the answer will generally be no since it would require having to gain permission from the artist of the other pack to use their textures, as it would require the modification and redistribution of said textures.
