Happy Holidays everyone! This resource pack adds 16 Santa hats for you to wear!

This pack doesn't outright replace the carved pumpkin model and it does not allow the placing of witch hats! It should also be compatible with all other resource packs so long as it's given higher priority than any resource packs that change the pumpkin blur texture (which this pack makes invisible).

THIS RESOURCE PACK REQUIRES OPTIFINE TO WORK!!

                    How to Get Santa Hats

Rename a carved pumpkin to any of the following names (it's not case sensitive) to turn them into Santa hats!

                    - Light Gray Santa Hat
                    - Gray Santa Hat
                    - Black Santa Hat
                    - Brown Santa Hat
                    - Red Santa Hat
                    - Orange Santa Hat
                    - Yellow Santa Hat
                    - Lime Santa Hat
                    - Green Santa Hat
                    - Mint Santa Hat
                    - Cyan Santa Hat
                    - Light Blue Santa Hat
                    - Blue Santa Hat
                    - Purple Santa Hat
                    - Magenta Santa Hat
                    - Pink Santa Hat

Feel free to use this anywhere, I just ask that you credit me for it if you do! <3

Small fix which adds the invisible pumpkin blur to this pack. Apologies for any inconveniences this caused!

The santa hat just looks like a normal pumpkin on my screen. I made sure I was using the texture pack and that I had spelled it right. What can I do?

I'm not entirely sure where the problem could be coming from with this, but here's a few things I can think of that could possibly help?

                    - Make sure you have a current version of Optifine installed and are running Minecraft through it in the launcher (in the bottom left of the launcher make sure you have an Optifine version selected)
                    - Maybe try giving the pack a higher priority than other enabled packs in the resource packs menu if you have any, a model or texture from another pack might be overriding this pack's models

I can't guarantee that either of these things will work but that's really all I can think of that might fix it

is it posible to make a texture pack where this is the helmet instead fo naming a pumpkin?

Originally that was my plan, I wanted to use renamed and possibly dyed leather helmets as the items you'd use for this. But as far as I know and was able to find, Optifine and Minecraft don't currently support custom armor models outside of just retexturing the default models. I might've missed something of course but from what I know sadly it's not possible right now

Hi, for some reason, when I put the hat in the head slot, the pumpkin blur overlay still shows up.

Ah that's my bad! I'd forgotten to add the invisible pumpkin blur to the pack but I just pushed out an update which fixes this issue! Thanks for letting me know, it would've completely slipped by me otherwise

Hey, I have a question. I would like mobs to appear with this hat. could it?

You could spawn mobs in that have the renamed carved pumpkin or throw a santa hat at a zombie that picks up and wears items, but at the moment there's nothing which will spawn them in naturally wearing one. I might make a datapack or resourcepack that could add this though if I can figure that out!
