What is Stacked Items?
Hello! This is Stacked Items! This texture pack makes items seemingly "stack" as you obtain more of that item. The texture for diamonds will reflect the amount of diamonds that you have in that stack. This applies to most items. Ingots, Signs, Apples, Ink Sacs. Most textures will update to reflect the quantity of items. *NOTICE* This texture pack requires the "Custom Items" option in Optifine to be enabled (found under Options > Video Settings > Quality) or the CIT Resewn Mod.
History of Stacked Item
You may notice that I'm not the first person to work on Stacked Items. This is because ownership of the project has been passed down twice. The project started with Vaderman24, who made a version of it for 1.12. However, after 1.13 Vaderman stopped working on it. Later, Dasher picked up the project and ported it to 1.14, and continued to work on it up until 1.17. Now, I own the project. However, if either Dasher or Vaderman were to return, they can have the project returned to them. However I believe it would be unlikely as Dasher directly confirmed he would likely not be working on it again, and Vaderman hasn't been active in about 3 years.
Contribution and Ownership
As the project has a tendency to be passed down, I intend to do the same should I stop working on the resource pack. If I haven't updated the pack in 6 months, you may then DM me on Planet Minecraft or email me at mooredaxon@gmail.com (I recommend email, since I rarely check Planet MC anymore). If I then say it is okay, you may continue work on the texture pack. If you need help with learning how to make it, I'd be glad to help. This goes for other texture packs as well.
If I say that I intend to continue working on it, you may not work on it. However, to anyone who would like to aid in the creation of the resource pack, please DM me on Planet Minecraft saying you want to contribute a texture. Then please email me the files (If I have a Planet Minecraft DM then I will know to check my email for the files). Any contribution will receive credit for those textures.
Similar Packs
You are allowed to create packs with a similar premise, but you cannot directly copy and paste this resource pack, and there must be at least enough difference between the packs for it to be unique. Changing one or two textures isn't unique. If you want help learning how to make stacked textures, I advise you to go to this site to learn how to utilize Optifine's custom item texture feature. If you want additional help, you can DM me, but as I hope I've made clear by now, my response won't be immediate.
More Pack Info: Within the pack folder there is a "creator_notes" folder, with various information about the pack within. I recommend checking it for more information about the pack.
