For some reason I just cannot stand how the handheld item in vanilla minecraft appears as if the person holding it, has it's hand bended (last pic) so I made this resource pack that makes the handheld item appear straight. That's it. That is all.

    More like this

      Have something to say?

I feel like this is somewhat flawed, personally. You wouldn't try to keep your arm outstretched with your sword pointing straight up. It'd be more comfortable to gently rest it on your shoulder which is kind of what I've interpreted the vanilla wield position to be. (That'd also give you extra leverage for swinging it too.)

It's not like you'd only bend your wrist to do that, either. You'd bend your entire forearm.

I am not really sure what is the purpose of this comment. The idea of this mod is not really up to debate. It's changes are so insignificant and apparent that it just takes one look to know if this mod is for you. It's a matter of personal preference, not something you can convince someone of. This was a modification inspired by Gosha's RPG First Person Pack and first person RPG games like Skyrim (see picture below) that I decided to share for the very few that asked me for it because they also enjoy playing MC in a similar way. I was just giving my two cents because I feel like the whole wrist thing is just pointless hyperbole. This mod makes sense to me from the perspective of having parity with related things like that mod or Skyrim. I made my comment because I found the reasoning for the mod's existence that was given strange.

I didn't make it because I didn't like your pack, I just didn't understand it.

Though, I feel like the Skyrim's sword position is what actually looks uncomfortable to me, lol
