Every other pack that adds the No Wings club medals doesn't make the textures dependent, so they appear regardless of when you want them to. I have the ability to do so. As a result, you will only get the medal texture when you name the base item the name shown in the above images. To use this pack simply remove the pack from the .zip file and drag it into your Minecraft resource pack folder.
