Hello everyone!
I'm Kiocifer, a modeler and artist for the popular MMORPG server Wynncraft. I made this pack based on what I learned while modeling for that server, and hope to capture the same feeling of the weapon models. This is just an addon pack so you can use it with any other main pack (It only modifies weapons and tools), but it also works great with default textures.
I will be releasing only the 1.16.5 and the 1.17.1 version here on planetminecraft, however all additional versions can be found at my Patreon (Don't worry, they're free). Please consider supporting me if you enjoy what I create! (www.patreon.com/kiosmodels)
FAQ:
Q: Will this pack lag my game?
A: Likely, no. Because the models used have relatively low voxel counts (20-50ish each) the pack should have little to no impact on your performance. Obviously, it won't be boosting frames, but its impact on your experience should be very minimal.
Q: What program do you use to create models?
A: I use blockbench, it's an amazing free program to create .json models.
Q: When will you add X item/Can you add X item?
A: Here's a list of what to expect soon:
Upcoming models:
Totems of Undying
Enchanted Books/Books
Clocks/Compasses
Food/Materials
+ Everything else (Maybe not block models)
Models I cannot/will not make:
Trident (It's hard-coded by mojang, so I'll need to use optifine)
Spyglass (Same story as trident)
Shields (While I can make a shield model, it will override banner shields and I really like banner shields)
Potions/Tipped Arrows (I can make them but the one model will override all other types of potion so you can't tell them apart)
Armor (There's no way to give models to armor even with optifine)

You're allowed to use this pack for your own personal servers, but please do not claim any of my models as your own.

Look at how the sword's positioned
I have a Tip about the Potions/Tipped Arrows it is possible since minecraft is replacing the color from the Texture so it is possible (since you use blockbench i think i saw a possibility to enable collor changing)
