This resource pack is conceptionally based on the standard texture pack.
It contains all blocks available in the standard texture pack. Special features of this resource pack are more detailed textures of blocks and a more diverse style of the nature.

It contains:
  • several random alternative textures for plants and other blocks
  • varieties of flowers and lily pads partially including blossoms
  • rotating ground block textures (grass, dirt, snow, etc.) for a better and more diverse visualization
  • a lightmap considering the characteristics of biomes
  • a varied texturing of the trees foliage
  • 3D models (rail system, furnace, ladder, doors and more)
  • additional animations
  • optional random alternative peaceful mobs (MCPatcher or OptiFine required to use this feature)
  • optional custom sky (MCPatcher or OptiFine required to use this feature)
  • Glowstone presented as glowing stone in Nether but as lamp in the Overworld (MCPatcher or OptiFine required to use this feature)
  • double slabs have an additional texture double stone slabs are shown like in versions of Minecraft before 1.7
  • clear structured GUI with good legibility
  • non-standard paintings
  • Bump mapping and parallax occlusion mapping shader support - Support for a more realistic look. Gives more depth and structure to the textures. (Final look depends on the selected shader)

When "Random Mobs" in OptiFine are enabled, you might rarely see a blue cow. This is not a bug, but an easter egg of this resource pack.

I do like this pack, very clear and clean. I am not a fan of the glowing weapons, its a bit much for my broken eyes, and the villagers faces are a bit creepy to me. How can I put those 2 things back to vanilla but still keep the pack?

go to the texturepacks files (type %appdata% in your windows search bar, or open your resourcepack folder from minecraft while youre in minecraft, open this pack, click on assets, minecraft, textures, item, then search the weapons you dont like to have, delete them, and go back to mobs, search the mobs you dont want) and delete it.

What is your policy on people using your texture pack in photos when posting content? I'm asking because I built some roller coasters in a map and wanted to post them using your texture pack in the map images. Is that ok with you?

This is fine as long as you don't offer the package as a download.

I look forward to the pictures of the roller coaster. Please post a link to it. :)

I love the blocks but not a fan of the mobs, villagers, and iron golem. Just my different taste. Can I rename a folder or certain files inside the zip so my game will use the default textures for mobs, villagers, and iron golem?

Edit: I am using optifine if that makes a difference

McMonaLisa, thank you for all the hard work on this. It is awesome.

Thank you for your feedback. :)
You can delete the file "...\assets\minecraft\textures\entity\iron_golem.png" and the folder "...\assets\minecraft\textures\entity\villager
", then the default textures will be applied.

Love love love this pack. I am not sure but I think the lever positions have been reversed. What I see as up everyone else sees as down?
