Monsterley HD

Monsterley HD Universal is a high-resolution semi-realistic resource pack. The textures correspond in color and content to the default Minecraft.
This preserves the character of built structures, even when using another resource pack. Special features of this resource pack are more detailed textures of blocks and a more diverse style of the nature.

This resource pack will not work with versions of Minecraft older than 1.13.x.

It contains:
  • several random alternative textures for plants and other blocks
  • varieties of flowers and lily pads partially including blossoms
  • rotating ground block textures (grass, dirt, snow, etc.) for a better and more diverse visualization
  • a lightmap considering the characteristics of biomes
  • a varied texturing of the trees foliage
  • 3D models (rail system, furnace, ladder, doors and more)
  • additional animations
  • Noteblock can display the instrument, the musical note and clicks.
  • HD font
  • non-standard paintings
  • clear structured GUI with good legibility
  • mapping shader support - Support for a more realistic look. Gives more depth and structure to the textures. (Final look depends on the selected shader.)
Optional features (OptiFine required to use):
  • random alternative peaceful mobs
  • Glowstone presented as glowing stone in Nether but as lamp in the Overworld
  • Custom sky
  • Connected glass
  • Various villagers. For each profession a separate texture. (Minecraft version 1.13.x)
  • UI for Villager by profession (Minecraft version 1.13.x)
  • Different Elytra
  • 3D Chess
  • Iron Golem for various biomes ( Image )

Are you planning on updating this pack and the biomes o plenty addon to 1.18.1? This is my favorite texture pack ive been using for years and I'm really missing it!

Do you also accept donations? I love this pack!

I really hope you are going to update this for 1.17 or 1.18 it was my favourite resource pack and all of the others I have tried just aren't right.

Was thrilled to discover that the texture pack still works in 1.17.1 Am really hoping that it will work in the 1.18 update when it comes out.. Thanks again for such a great texture pack ;-)

I love these texture packs, I'm just wondering if you guys are working on the 1.17 texture pack? Minecraft just doesn't look the same without these packs

I don't think so... Even your link is stuck at 1.16.5... I'm afraid that monsterlay will not update anymore...And I'm really sorry about that because it has been my favourite texture pack in years...

The 8th of june 2021 will be release minecraft 1.17... will u continue updating your incredible texture pack? I ask this because it's a lot of time without updating...
I hope you'll do, because your texture pack is the best so far...

Hey,

You must be either a millionaire or simply an awesome person, to create such an excellent stuff and don't even expect donations ;) ;)

I also found one bug recently - spiders and cave spiders appear completely black if your pack is used with Sildurs shaders (both extreme or enhanced default version). I'm pretty sure this is not the bug on the Sildurs shaders as many other texture packs I've tested render spiders correctly when used with this popular shader pack.


Oh, also there is no texture for the piglin brute in the latest pack so it would be great to update.




Also, I have to say all the textures are just perfect and incredibly detailed, especially animals and mobs, but there are two textures in this pack that I find unacceptable ;) The creeper texture with this "tnt" painting on him and also iron golem texture - those two mobs look wayyyy too much fantasy / cartoonish while all the rest of the textures in pack are pretty much photo realistic :) Just a suggestion to maybe work a bit on those two mobs in the next update :)
