What if Mojang had instead allowed us to dig down into the already existing bedrock layer, leaving the newer blocks to replace bedrock as the new unbreakable edge of the world? With the Simple Bedrock Swap Resource Pack fully replace deepslate and its derivatives with unique bedrock versions and in a sense return to a world more "minecraft" than even Mojang could come up with!
