This is my first texture pack, so I decided to base it on the area where I live. Whatcom County is a beautiful area in Western Washington, from the snow-capped Mount Baker to Bellingham Bay and the wild woods in between. It is a temperate rainforest, perpetually grey and wet but also rich with life and beautiful landscapes. I want it to be as realistic as possible, while still keeping within the original 16x16 of vanilla Minecraft.

This is still very much a work in progress. I will be adding a few *subtle* animations where I feel it is appropriate, but nothing super flashy. Please give me any suggestions/critique you have! I'm making this mainly for my own use, but if other people like it and want to use it too that would be really cool! :3

Additional Notes

I have included a .txt file with a list of all the plant species used in this texture pack for those who are interested. All of them are native to Washington state except the teasel and clover. Thanks Mojang for giving me so many flowers to work with! :D

There are two sets of paintings in this pack--the default photo-based paintings, and a second set that includes my own hand-made paintings. Hand-made ones take a lot of time, so it may be a while before I have a full set of them. If you want to use the second set, you will need to go into the texture pack file and switch the two.
