Added and Improved sounds
Lava, fire, and water have their own new sounds
Caves have a constant rumble, and occasional sounds in the background...
Grassy places have soft winds, and birds tweeting...
Snowy places have cold wind, with crows cawing and sometimes a distant howl...
Deserts have a dry soft wind, and it seems something is in the distance...
giant tree forests, have trees creaking in the wind, and sounds of something that seems nearby...
jungles can have a lot of bird noises. what did you expect?

I don't want to spoil all of the sounds, there are some that i don't want to give away!
This pack is not complete yet
expect a good amount of vanilla sounds to still exist.
I have yet to replace a large amount of sounds.
i plan to do mob sounds at one point, but that's a long way off.

i also want to do general sound effects, like explosions or and arrow firing.
making sounds is time consuming, and i'm not a professional or anything.
on top of it all, resource packs are really limited to what i can do with sounds.

all that aside, i hope you enjoy :)

5 Update Logs
Update #5 : by Xonk 04/06/2022 12:33:28 pmApr 6th, 2022
I have at last updated. sorry for the long wait.
ive changed the download to curseforge to have a wider chance at people finding the pack
anyway, the changelog
replaced footstep sounds for most the blocks i had sounds for
added breaking, placing, and hitting sounds for:
stone, grass, dirt/gravel, snow, glass/ice, cloth, and metal things (more to come hopefully)
added lightening sounds
added exp pickup sounds (i forgot to take them out lol, they were still in test form)
added 1 extra wind sound with leaves in it to grassy places
replaced the cave wind sounds with a deep rumbling sound, made it more intense in places with deepslate vs places that are just normal stone
added water running sounds and water splash sounds
added lava sounds
added fire sounds
added sizzle sounds (like when lava hits water)
tweaked volumes, pitches, and weights for various sounds.

i've gotten very disappointed by the limitations of what just a resource pack can do with sound.
if i ever make another update it would probably be a datapack, not a resourcepack.
I installed the pack and found myself with the same problem as Banshee - 7, and followed your step by step guide to increase the volume.
But got a bit lost in the code, as I just want to increase those ambient background noises for now, like the wind and bird tweeting for example.
Do I find those at the sounds with "ambience" attached to them?
Also the sounds when you go underwater, emerge from it or be underwater seem quite loud in comparison.
Thank you
Vine sounds are gone
Wood step sometimes act very weird, use vanilla wood step very randomly
That is it for now i think
i know it has been a long long time since i last updated, i've been preoccupied by shader related stuff i want to do so i haven't got around to working on sound related stuff in a while.
i know i've said it before but i do plan to update the pack sooner or later!
I know it will get even more work now since 1.18 add new biomes or rename some old one
