This is a randomized mobs pack based on the new 1.14 textures by JAPPA, so if you don't like them then don't use this pack.
This resource pack requires the latest OptiFine version.
For this pack to work properly, these OptiFine options must be ON: Custom Entity Models and Random Entities, which are both on the Quality menu inside Video Settings.


It always bugged me how every single creature was always the same. With this pack i just wanted to add variation to Minecraft, to make it more natural.

Now all mobs have variations, ones more than others. Things that can variate are colors and textures and models. Some entity models are changed to assist on randomization, like zombies having separate models for clothing and skins so i don't have to make a texture for every combination of clothes and skin tones. Most creature have blinking animations, but not all of them... YET. Textures usually are different based on biomes and height (so it won't work properly on flat worlds). There are Easter eggs, I like them, but it's hard to add them without making it weird, so they aren't too many, and they are pretty rare to come across.

If you want to report a bug please do it in the comments. If you want to contribute to this pack you can do so by sending me your textures and I will make sure to check them out to see if they fit or not, and maybe make some tweaks so it's more in line with everything else. If I decide to add them you will be credited of course!
And leave feedback too! If there's a texture you don't like, remember that I could just make it harder to find rather than remove it.

As a sugestion: could you make a wither skeleton with wither-boss-like head? Or the color of the explosive heads? To add some variety to them.

I have a question: Would it be possible to change the colour of the Endermen's particles depending on surroundings (like, have them emit black particles [like in the test versions] in the OW, and reddish particles in the Nether) ?

If you got protection/ something like Norton or some other virus protection. Otherwise, it is. Even if your using adblocker, it sometimes will demand you to turn it off, and even then it opens a new tab to a virus site so I guess your right, its not a virus site, its just a site that redirects you to the viruses.

Just click on the yellow (or whatever color) button "Skip Ads" after 5 seconds,

If you don't click on the adv it send no virus, any pop up just ignore and shut down with [x].

Ad free mean the author make no money from their hard works, so be respectful about it at least

Clicking skip ad opens a new tab, if not closed fast enough a virus will be on your computer. I have security, but those who don't will get a broken pc. Then the original tab will redirect to the real mod. So, no matter what reg peps will possibly get a virus from just going about it.

no thats not what happens, the site it opens is fine, as long as you dont click anything. and it should close out on its own, so i dont know whats up with yours, unless im thinking of a different site.

Do you mean disconnected arms? I cant do that. Or well, I haven't figured it out how to do it. I did have disconnected arms before the village and pillage update, but now that villagers have separated textures, the way I used to do it doesn't work anymore.

I love the pack! I also have a suggestion: I think it would be cool if like 50% of villagers were female, you would have to make a variety of female villager textures tho and i don't know how difficult this would be.

Hello there! I wanted to say that I absolutely love your texture pack! It's always bothered me that there was only one color per animal. The textures look great and I love that different patterns can come in different colors!

I have been having one problem, though maybe its on my side? A lot of the old horse patterns (socks, sooty, paint, etc.) will not spawn on certain colors that they used to: particularly the chestnuts, blacks, grays, and the bays- they seem to work fine on the flaxen chestnut and I think the buckskin as well. Did I do something wrong?


Again, I really love this pack! I only recently got back into minecraft and finding this has definitely ensured my stay for quite a while haha! Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.

I fixed it, apparently optifine doesn't like patterns. When using random mobs on horses the patterns disappear. So until it's fixed the horse color randomization is cancelled. The fix will be up tomorrow

I haven't changed the horse patterns. Have you tried to see if they spawn without my pack? Maybe in a previous update minecraft changed which horses can have patterns. Or maybe you were really unlucky with their spawns

i still think squid 10 should be used just maybe with less eyes for the deep ravines so like it spawns under y=40 or 30 but they should spawn at y -237 or below (300 meters below sea level) but that does not exist so maybe have them spawn under y=23 trenches can go that deep but it would be rare so maby just spawned under y=30 ok quick google they can only spawn in between 46 and 62, so if they spawn in the 46 to 50 they should be the squid 10 with just 2 less eyes cause thats how many eyes squids have.

I can make it a named texture, but i don't think it would fit naturally, that's why it's not implemented. It was created to be a nether variant, but we all know that wouldn't work as you can't have water in the nether

and also with underwater ravines / trenches squids will spawn at y=47 or above and typical ocean floor is y=30 but you could make it so it has to spawn in a shallow ocean (the non deep ones)
below y=50 so it would have to be in a ravine.

Just saying something with the texturepack is making horses with specific patterns change patterns with the texturepack i summoned a white spotted dark brown horse and without the texturepack its fine but with the texturepack it turns to a dark brown horse so that might be a problem

The golden parts are not yet implemented, I don't really know if they would fit, the ravager is supposed to match the pillagers. One made of diamond would look cool but like the golden one i don't know if it fits

I really enjoy the pack but there’s one problem, which why i don’t use it. Evokers are invisible. I already tried removing all files with evoker in the name and this didn’t work so for the time being i’ll use vanilla textures.

I tried to recreate your problem but I couldn't do it. I have no idea what it might be. Are you playing on minecraft 1.14? Are you using the latest Optifine version? Maybe another pack is conflicting with mine?

i'm playing on 1.14.4 and i'm pretty sure i'm using the latest version of optifine. i'm also using improved default and a resource pack that replaces music discs which i made myself. I'll try reinstalling optifine to make sure i have the latest version and test it again then. I'll update you after testing it again.

Update: I've found that the problem is on improved default's side, i had removed some broken textures from this myself including the evoker, when using custom entity models it goes invisible and somehow the game still prioritises the evoker from improved default over yours, even tho i put your pack above improved default. (the unedited version of improved default also has the same problem.)


Another update: i managed to fix the problem myself by finding 1 evoker related file i missed while deleting it from improved default, i deleted this and now the problem is gone.
