IMMERSIVE BEEKEEPING Ver 0.3.0
View the latest updates here.
This datapack aims to make beekeeping a more in-depth, rewarding experience. It includes custom tools, machinery, crafters, foods, and more!
To get all the custom items in creative mode use the command:
/function beekeeping:create_items
Starting the datapack, you'll be given a Beekeeping License. Using it will spawn your first Apiarist NPC! He sells useful beekeeping tools and allows you to trade in your goods for emeralds. For now, he's also the only source of acquiring more Beekeeping Licenses and thus more Apiarist NPC's.
Queen Bees will allow you to easily colonize empty hives and nests. To make one, throw a diamond block, 3 honey blocks, and a Lost Larvae (acquired from fallen bees) on top of a nest/hive. Feeding the Queen Bee a Wither Rose will spawn a baby bee. This ability has a 3 second cooldown.
The new tool is the Scraper! There are three kinds of scrapers: Copper Scraper, Reinforced Scraper, and Apiarist's Scraper. Each one will give more bonus honeycomb and more experience every time you harvest from a hive.
To craft many of the custom items, you'll need the Custom Crafter. To make it, throw a honey block and a honeycomb block on top of a crafting table.
The video linked above goes into more detail about the many features of Immersive Beekeeping! This is a Version 0.1, so feedback is greatly appreciated. Make sure to review the update logs or any patch note videos linked above.

plwase update this
Tried creating hive by dropping barrel, 2 larvae, and golden apple. But it doesn't seem to work.
- Makeshift hive recipe now uses custom crafter instead of drop crafting.
- Makeshift hive recipe now uses beehive instead of barrel. (vertically: 1 golden apple, 2 lost larvae, beehive)
