Just so you know, I have no idea if this is the right place to post this type of stuff, but I am doing it anyways because I don't see another good place to do so. Feel free to move or delete this if you know a better place for this.

I just joined Planet Minecraft to help users out with commands. However, I have no idea where help and discussion on commands goes.

After digging into the site for quite a bit, it turns out the official location for posting stuff on commands is a single forum thread within the redstone section. It is old and neglected, seeing that the last comment on it was 2 years ago. People who want help or want to discuss stuff about commands don't seem to be going there—in fact, I find them all over the place, like in the Java Edition discussions forum, in the data packs forum, and in other wacky places that I have to look all over the place to find.

I don't want that. The main reason that I came to PMC is to help users with their commands issues, but I can't do that if I don't know where to find the users and help requests that I'm looking for.

This is why I would like to see either one of two things done:

• Promote the commands thread into its own community. This has its advantages
• Rename the redstone category to "Redstone and Commands", making it accept both topics, just like Minecraft Forum.
  

Do you have any other ideas on how to make a commands section more noticeable? How could we integrate this to work well with data packs? Or, am I just in the wrong place to help others with their commands work?
