with popular wallposts, there are often times many comments and if the OP wants to acknowledge them without having to reply to every comment with a "thanks!", it could lead to some users feeling left behind with their seemingly ignored comment.

proposed is a feature that allows the OP and other users to 'like' comments, similar to giving an emerald to a comment in a submission. It does not need to give XP in any way, since its purpose is just a form of polite acknowledgement and thanks.
