Add A Disable DMs Option I am being stalked and even though admins say hes IP banned, I still get messages from new accounts almost every single day, I have told him to stop many times and I feel like the only way to stop it is to make a new account - or if there was a way to disable dms completely.
For some reasons it's good and for some not: +- it could be good to be pmed only by subscribers or their subscribers(YOU CHOOSE HOW), but it could be abused in some sort - it can be hard to contact someone in private if they disable it, so it can come to a open talk(everyone sees it and can comment)
On a site like this, theres very little that needs to be private, friends can go to things like discord or even the on site chat feature which i think is getting (or already has?) private rooms.
Maybe profiles can have a new widget for comments only the owner sees, as a choice, like a guest book but private. Like you said, a subscriber only option may be the better middle ground but the problem I have may still persist.
I think this option would be great for younger members of Planet Minecraft whose parents allow them online but no private communications in addition to the problem OP described. As a child orientated game, Planet Minecraft draws in a lot of younger users and this could be a valuable feature in protecting children online from unwanted messages.
