Wrong xp count in dropdown menu

Under the dropdown menu when you hover over the level on a member page you can see the total experience earned by that member.

However, this number is not correct, as can be seen here:

I suspect the dropdown menu uses an old counter for the xp which doesn't take forum xp into account.

  Have something to say?

It's intentional, as odd as that may sound. The experience you see on the side is only your site experience.

Cyprezz wanted it that way. No idea where we're gonna display forum-only experience yet, but he didn't like it being two separate things.

If he didn't like it being 2 different things, why did he want it separated in the first place? That's indeed "odd" :p. I thought the whole idea behind the forum update was to have it better connected with the main site?

How is the forum xp calculated btw? I could probably try to figure it out, but that takes time and effort.

The actual experience level is connected (whenever forum XP increases, the total increases, and vice versa; having the two apart lets us easily show to people how much of their XP is from the site and how much is from the forums), yes. By "two separate things" I mean he didn't like it taking up two rows in the table. I'm not sure if it's a bug that it displays the site-only XP there instead of forum, though.
