Hello, minecrafters in need of a server! Spark5 here with an easy tutorial on how to make a minecraft server!
It's easy, read the steps below:
1. Download these two files (bit.ly/1hG7pAo and bit.ly/1ilTdrv) and put them into one folder called "Minecraft Server".
2. Click RUN.bat, then let it load out, then when it says "Done!" type "stop".
3. Download this: bit.ly/1u2XXr0 then open it up.
4. Click options, then click preferences, then click connections, then set the port to "25565"
5. Seach cmd (Command Prompt) then tpye "ipconfig" copy your ipv4 address.
6. Open up your server folder, then open up server.properties, then its should say "server-ip=".
7. Make it say, for example "server-ip=10.0.0.1". ("10.0.0.1" = my ipv4).
8. Tell your friends the ipv4 then play!

10. By the way, you can only do this with windows vista, windows 7, or windows 8. I did it with windows 8.
