I firstly want to mention that my questions are partially answered in my comment,
and that there is no such a category in the forum ^^

However, debates and reactions are open (and welecomed) in the comments!

Hello everyone!

I just started a new adventure map project,
I asked myself the following question:

How the players are ready to play again in an adventure map?

I think this is an important issue (and I will try to provide some answers or ideas) for two reasons;
First, the view of the player.
What, in a guided tour on minecraft, therefore limited to limited objectives that are sometimes not those of the vanilla game,
will push a player to start again the game experience?
Personally, I see several reasons for it:
A randomness in the map, which will be new to some extent.
Interesting interactions with the environment, as they may exist in some RPG.
A custom achievements system that will ask the player to try again to finish the adventure at the maximum which is proposed to him.

Secondly, the point of view of the designer.
Why encouraging the player to start a map again?
Here I see several possible reasons:
If a player start again an adventure map, that's because he has enjoyed it, it seems obvious. So it's more rewarding for its creator.
One can also try to offer alternative content through random systems or quests.
Or immerse the player in a unique atmosphere, he can only find in this map in particular.
There is therefore a demand for originality.

I now return you the question, to know what is your standing point on these issues,
and if you have any suggestions or ideas towards this.

Il me semble que c'est une question importante (et j'essayerai d'y apporter quelques pistes de réponses) pour deux raisons;

I like your point of view on adventure maps! It was said well, and I was inspired to finish some of my own! I look forward in seeing an adventure map that is made to be played more than once!!

Thank you ^^
I'm actually trying to imagine systemes and mechanics to allow my map to work again,
and diferently each time a player start it again ^^
But a friend (redstoner) said to me that was useless, that player won't play again on an adventure map.
So here i come with this question ^^

Yeah, I totally understand.

I've done many adventure map sort if things and ideas, but this is really cool. I've made a reset system for these kind of things before, so if you're interested I could get it for you via PM.

I have two redstoner friends who help me for the adventure maps and the systemes deseign ^^
So we made a reset for the Journey map,
and we're thinking about something which don't need a global reset,
the map could probably reset itself while the player reach the levels and checkpoints ^^
Anymway thank you for your proposition, i'll ask you back if I need it ^^
