I've been here before posting this and i can say that after you wipe your minecraft clean, you wont regret it.
I'd advise you to use some sort of grapple mod or the portal mod, because the flying pigs they give you just don't cut it.

Long story short, when you get a mount of any kind, stick to the clouds and the cliffs and jump often.

Boss Items Discovered:

• Vampire Blade = This sword heals you (sometimes) for every smack. To hell with eating, GO KILL THINGS TO WIN!
  
• Hammer Of Notch = Throws what looks like some kind of ingot. It hurts mobs in it's path and pretty much kills anything it hits directly.
  
• Valkyrie Spear = Not sure what this does yet.
  
• Lightning Knife = Summons lightning on impact
