Hey guys, Bannanners here! today im going to talk a little bit about something you guys dont know about me. I have a form of color blindness. I am Red Green Deficient which means that there is a deficiency of Red and Green o neach and every single thing i have ever seen in my whole entire life!
As you guys may know i also make and upload skins for you guys to try out :) But being color blind has its dissadvantages. for one picking the color for skins is terribly difficult which is why some of my skins may have a little wierd color to them sometimes.
Another challenge that i am going to be facing in the near futur is next semester in highschool i have art. I never took art in grade 9 or 10 because i was afraid that maybe i couldnt do it because of my color blindness. So im sort of taking a leap of faith here and trying it out since i still need my art credit. i am very nervous about this because i got the hardest marking art teacher in the whole school. I really hope she understands if things are oddly colored..
Another challenge i face with being color blind is the embarassment of having to ask the students who sit beside me "What color is this?" this is super super embarrasing because they always look at me like there is something wrong with me. sometimes they understand when i tell them that im color blind but others just ignore me because it eventually gets very annoying being asked "What color is this?"
i dont know how many times i have goten marks off a project or assignment that we had to color a certain color. even if it is Half a mark here and there it still hurts to know that im being docked marks for something i cant control.
So there it is.. I'm color blind, and a skin maker how wierd is that right? it's a very wierd combo for me because i will never know what TRUE red looks like. just the shade of red that i see. i will never know the TRUE shade of blue, yellow, orange heck the only colors that i know what the TRUE shade of are Black and white and grey. you gusy are lucky. being able to see colors normaly and you dont knwo how it feels to be asked if i never learned my colors. My mother told me a story once about when i was in kindergarden my teacher thought i was retarded because i couldnt name my colors correctly this lead to her bringing me to a doctor and getting my eyes checked..
My friends often tease me by askign me what color something is or by making me do color blind tests online and whatnot. and this is all jjust lowering my self esteem. :(
I just wanted to let you guya know this in case some of my skins have already or will turn out kind of wierd in color...
AND just to prove that i AM truley Color blind.. I canot see any shape or form of a number in the picture up top.. those who arnt color blind will apparently see a 7 i think? I cant even make out a line or anything that looks like a number...
