Basic Background on Villagers.

Where they came from

The Villagers have been on Earth since the beginning of recorded history. It is unknown if they are a product of evolution or from an unknown planet or dimension.

Why they do what they do

The Villagers prefer a simpler way of life and tend to farm and keep records of everything that happens. They keep these books in bookshelves.

Their relation to Steve

"Steve" is a villager with a very rare gene that causes them to be more complex, so to speak. It starts off with Mining and forging. They tend to live in a blacksmith, rather than a house to better fit this lifestyle. When this Villager has a child, it has a 25% chance to be born as another complex being, which I am naming "Halflings." This keeps going on until 2 Halflings have a child and it theoretically has a 25% chance of being a Steve.
