Hey everyone! Welcome to my second installment of Ben's Corner! Let's take a look at what I'm doing, what I've got planned, and what the heck is going on in that little brain of mine. So, today lets look at what's planned for my texture packs, a backstory that's sure to leave you on the edge of your seat, a review of Hypixel's Herobrine's Return, and some forum excitement!

Grim MIner Beta has just been released. "Grim Miner Beta." As I updated the pack, I realized that I had abandoned the texture pack that brought me to fame, SwitchPack. SwitchPack, as many of you know, is my texture pack that gives the nether an end vibe, and vice-versa, along with many other tweaks. See SwitchPack! SwitchPack will be recieving an update that will not only bring it to Minecraft 1.5, but also add some new things! This update will include, buit not be limited to: lava squids, special saddles (for creepigs!) and cacti..? ApertureCraft will also be receiving a 1.5 update. That may include a mob addition as well as some new textures.

A world billions of times more complex than ours. Beings so advanced that they rule this shifting land, gifted with the powers of instant thought and communication. This is the world that our hero is plunged into, at the time of a great cataclysm. Now, in this strange and unforgiving land, you are forced to explore, survive, and conquer. And, in the end, you are destined to save this land from ancient evils. Only by mastering the powers of the temporal can you ever hope to survive. This is the world of Storm.
Sound interesting? This is the concept that Storm, my new texture pack, will be based on. But I intend to extend this world far past the reaches of the texture pack. Innovative adventure maps are in my sights. What do you think? I know it will not be easy, but this is the final goal. I know every adventure map I've discussed in the past has never come around, but I believe that this concept has endless possibilities and yet I know how I can pull it off. I will keep you all informed on the status of the first of these maps.

As I have expressed before, through other posts, favorites, and of course a submission, I am a huge fan of Hypixel. Please, if you have not already done so, check out his work. It'll be worth your time, trust me. He inspires me to do better. He is the reason I want to create an adventure map, even though I'll never be able to reach his standards. I make concepts and play adventure maps, but He creates them.
Herobrine's Return is Hypixel's newest map. It's the sequel to Herobrine's Mansion, which in my opinion, set the standard for all maps since 1.4. And I think Hypixel still holds the ribbon here. Herobrine's Return both expands and improves on Herobrine's Mansion. Using hoppers, spawners, and even quick-time events, he creates a story that brings you in, makes you feel like you're there, dueling with Herobrine. Your friend and ally through the adventure, Thannos, makes the game seem more real, more dangerous.

And finally, I've been doing some work on the forums lately. I've been part of this community texture pack: Light by Echin44. And I'm about to open an RP based on the -> Ender's Game <- series. Speaking of that, is anyone else pumped for the release of the movie this fall? Because I am! I'll be working with some people on the forums more in the future, so please, keep an eye out for me there.
