HEROBRINE

I was watching Steve as he came up to some mountains, after walking through a forest of deeply saturated green trees. He looked up at the cliff face, and his eyes rested on the seemingly random, contrasting formations.

I couldn’t understand. Beauty was inexplicable to me – I have definitions of it, but as hard as I tried to understand what made things beautiful, I could never manage to predict what Steve would describe as such.

I decided to try creating something “beautiful.” I had already predicted where Steve would logically go next, so I decided to build there. It wasn’t guaranteed he would go in that direction, though; Steve wasn’t always logical. I had to guess, though.

Having decided, I went to my chosen area – a plains biome, and began to build. I used every pattern, algorithm, and technique I had observed. By my predictions, this should have been perfect – a blend of all beauties.

So it seemed illogical to me that, when Steve came by, he looked at my work and showed no signs of awe or admiration. He looked a few parts of it, sure, and said they were “artistic” and that they had “good form,” but he didn’t appreciate it in the way he did the random formations. He walked away, and muttered “strange.”

In this moment, I felt something I had never experienced before – frustration. True, illogical emotion. I was furious that Steve didn’t appreciate my work. I’m still not sure how, but in that moment I understood my emotions; I saw anger, sadness, and joy: not just as words with set definitions but as set ways of life.

Life. That was the key; I felt alive for the first time, no longer like just a part of a system. I looked back at my structure, and saw patterns, colors, but there was no flow, no emotion. I understood Steve’s reaction now; how could I expect him to appreciate my work when I didn’t love it myself?

Not bad.... Only why would someone get so angry at someone else just cuz he didn't like their pictures?
Hold on...
How old are they?
2?
That is the only age that would be possible.
