"Hey, hey… HEY!” I snapped back to the reality. “Oh, I thought you are also deaf, glad that you aren’t.” She said in relief. “I have report- I mean, I have called the doctor for you. They’ll come to check on you in about half an hour.” Reported? What is she reporting? And to whom? I don’t think that I am currently in the safe hand anymore. With blindness, if anything does happen to me, I probably not going to be able to help myself. I better not act in any suspicious manner and comply with her words for now. “While we’re waiting for the doctor to arrive, you should come inside and take a rest. So, you won’t injure yourself while blindly crawling around.” She said then escorted me inside her house and sit me on her couch. “Have you eaten breakfast yet?” She asked. “I- I haven’t yet.” I replied as to not make myself looks suspicious, but that stutter probably point it out already. “So, what would you like?” She asked. “A… Ham sandwich, please.” I replied. I can hear her walking away. I suppose she is walking to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast for me.

While I am sitting on the couch, I can hear the faint radio sound playing classical music. The sound is really faint, I feel like it came from far away. And then another vision appears before me. I can now hear the music clearly. I am wearing a black tuxedo and standing inside what I assume to be, a large mansion. Standing beside me is Jason wearing the same black tuxedo as me. In front of us is our boss, Ulmer Tyrell. He is staring at the view of the pine forest and tall mountain peak outside while it is snowing through the mansion’s large windows. He reaching his hand out to grab a bottle of fine vine and pour it into three vine glasses then he called his butler to bring two of the three vine glasses to us. “S- sorry, I don’t drink vine.” I said to the butler. He nodded then takes the vine glass away. “The sun is slowly fading away. Both of the polar ice caps are growing bigger every day, it’ll engulf the entire earth soon and we cannot do anything to stop it…” Ulmer uttered then sighed. “Finn…” He called my name. “and Jason.” He called Jason. “You two will be our first test subject. You two will be the hope of all humanity.” He said. “But How about our friends? Family?” Jason replies back to Ulmer in a mildly frustrated voice. “They’ll come eventually, once the experiment is proved successful.” Ulmer replies in a tried voice. Jason turned to face me. “Finn-” before he can finish what he is trying to say everything went to darkness again.

But this time it’s not a complete darkness. There is a lot of flashing light around me and a loud bang everywhere. These loud and deafening noise make me feel like I am going to be deaf for real this time. It caused me a terrible headache. “CRITICAL FAILURE ALERT. CRITICAL FAILURE ALERT.” A loud robotic voice echoing around me. What does that mean? I wonder. “CRITCAL FAIlureeeeeeeeee-” As the robotic voice become more and more distorted, my vision also seems to be doing the same thing as well. There is a bunch of statics appearing and my vision started glitching. This doesn’t make any sense, but even if it does, I probably still can’t make any sense of it anyways because of my terrible headache…
