About the contest...

Hello everyone! I'm Greytopher, and this is my first ever blog contest. I came up with this idea last night, while writing 15 ideas on my iPod, but turns out when reading them over in the morning, only about two were good, and this includes one of them.

The point of me hosting this contest is to promote quality blogs and work throughout the PMC community. Even though this isn't a 'legit' contest, I still love to see all the awesome submissions posted by awesome members such as yourself!

The idea...

Here, the idea of the blog contest is simple. Take an excerpt of a cartoon (from a newspaper, or anywhere else. The cartoon has to be short, like a comic strip. Please us a comic strip.) and use it as base for a story. That excerpt will be the 'body' of your story. You must create a beginning, use the comic as a middle, then create your own end. Be wild with this, guys! I want to see PMC's creative side going! Also, it's a bonus (not technically, but just better) if it's Minecraft themed.

Submissions will be graded on three categories. Presentation, Grammar, and Creativity. All three are a must, and you will be graded 1-10, 10 being the best rank you could get, and the person with the highest score wins.

Time limit...

The time limit... I'm going to keep it to about a week. So from today, August 28, till September 4th. That gives you a full week of writing, and if you can't complete it in that time... you take too long! >:O

An Example...

"I liek bearz" said Steve.

"Oh doe u nao?" said Brain.

"Yurp. OH LOOK, A HOUSE." screamed Steve.



"I bet he ain't so bad, Brain." Continued Steve.

"Well, a zGrizzly ain't scary at all, Steve." Said Brain.

(Except in this example, make it an actual story! This is just what the formatting is supost to look like!)
