To Life, my beloved wife.
You give people joy, but I give them motive, leading them through life like a purpose locomotive. For without me why would you care what you did in life when you are standing there. Standing there in front of God or Satan, to which you go, is not my complication. You are the canvas, yes? I am the painting. You put a king into power, I end their reigning. People love you but fail to see, that they wouldn't have any urgency without me. I give them pain; in their life I put the gloom in, but isn't that the exact thing that makes a person human? Here they hate me, dread me, even curse me! But you, no, they'll never see, that there couldn't be you without me! Can there be light without a shadow, deep with no shallow? I apologize for yelling, but I hope you can see, that on the outside you look pretty, but inside, you are just as dark as me.
