Dream is Guilty
Since December, there has been a massive scandal regarding Dream after being exposed for using drop-rate alteration mods on one of his speedruns. The speedrun.com moderator team mathematically proved that Dream was cheating because the chance of anyone getting the blaze and pearl drops he got was one in 7.5 trillion, even if biased in favor of Dream.
After this, Dream released a video on his second channel, responding. In the video, Dream states that he hired an anonymous specialist in statistics and astrostatistics, a professor in an accredited university, and a graduate from Harvard.
He claims this expert found that the allegations against him were off and submitted a 19-page report stating why. According to the document, the chance was one million (no one knows where that number came from). Even if it is true, that is still an extremely high and questionable number. I honestly have no idea who Dream thought he could trick with this.
After a few days, proof started coming out that Dream’s report was fake. Many professionals worldwide started submitting videos proving it, saying that “the errors made in Dream’s report were so basic” that the writer’s qualifications were questionable.
At this point, it has been thoroughly proven that Dream was cheating. If you believe otherwise, either your obsession with Dream is blinding your rational thinking, or you are living under a rock. Dream dishonored his role as the most famous Minecraft influencer by lying to his fans and the community for his own benefit. He still refuses to apologize to his public! Dream deserves more punishment than just being banned from Minecraft speedrunning.
