What has happened to the development concerning the Dual Wield Mod?



Many of you may be wonderingo "MrArcane, what has happened with the development of Dual Wield? Is it ever going to come out for Minecraft 1.3.2?"

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: well it's been slow going, but recently I've contacted a man whose Java knowledge surpasses my own. He has helped me tremendously, and I believe that the mod should be released, if not this week, then by the end of this month. It has been quite an experience working with someone of such prestige, and I am appreciative of the work he has put out thus far. As a side-note, I also got invited to join the development team of the DWCM (Doctor Who Client Mod).

Anyway, I am writing this here today to express my joy and excitement for the release of Dual Wield v1.0. I hope you feel the same way. So please bear with me for another week, I promise that I will be releasing the mod in the near future. But in the mean time, please check out my work that is already published, or check out the profile of the man who's been helping me. The links are at the bottom of this post. Mine & Blade has a terrible dual wielding system, hold down right click spams that held weapon/tool its extremely stupid and op.

Man, I've moved on from this. I had troubles making this forge and anti-base class editing compatible. I've found bigger fish to fry, such as the developement of my mod Steamcraft 2. I know, I know, it's another "failed" mod or whatever, but I gave it my best shot. 

TL;DR:

Aw, man, that sucks. Request the mod author for it to be changed?

hmmmm. there is a Dual Wielding mod and it is called Mine & Blade 2: Battle Gear. But it is for 1.6+ not for 1.5.2 . it would be great if you made this mod to 1.5.2

Finally somebody was smart enough to make another duel wielding mod and in my opinion the discontinuation of the previous duel wielding mods were a mistake and shouldn't of happened but at least your making another one and hopefully this will give others the idea of doing the same.
