IntroductionIt's time to put up the tinsel and prop up your trees; no it's not the end of the world, it's Christmas (Or Xmas, however you pronounce it). We have come to you, the public to tell us your stories, the best ones will be picked out by our staff and a blog will be made everyday from the Wednesday 18th December 2013 to Wednesday 25th December 2013.

What genre does my story have to be?
The type of story is up to you, we do ask that it does not contain anything rude or inappropriate, because there are some younger players who might be reading your story. If you are stuck for ideas, here are some examples:
  • Comedy (Probably the most popular and easier one to do, plus everyone likes a good laugh: Unless you're Scrooge.)
  • Romance (Are you the Romeo of stories? Show us by trying to make a story about love, maybe place it in the city of love itself: Paris in France.)
  • Horror (Has Santa gone crazy and missed Steve's Christmas Tree? Tell us more by making a horror story based on the festive time.)
  • Or maybe a blend of them all. (You could try and be inventive by having a mixed range of genres in your story.)

How do I enter your competition?
Your best chance of your story getting through to us is by private messaging us on PlanetMinecraft. Make sure you have the title as Christmas Story Competition Entry so that our moderators can place it in a separate folder for the Judges: Ben, Steve and James. Your story can be as long as you want but the longer the better, you can enter as many times as you like, but only one of your stories will be shown if you are in the final.

What's in it for me?
The finalists will, as said before, be chosen by our three judges, the entries will be posted in a blog, which will include what we thought and our rating. Then they will be judged again one more time, but this time, we will decide on a winner, the winner will get a key for a game of their choice through Steam. The winner will be receive a private message from us notifying them that they have won, and with the question of what game they want and their Steam username. The final winner will be decided around about New years day -- To Be Confirmed --

Note: The game must be at least £15 or under.

Good luck to all entries.
