Starting off in five nights at Freddy’s 1 when foxy strikes its either he creeps up on you or you check the curtains  and see that foxy is not there and immediately switch to your hallway camera. From there you can hear (and see) foxy sprinting down the hallway. At this point you are speeding your mouse over to the door and closing it. If the door is not closed in time Foxy peeks in with one arm grabbing the door frame for balance. When this happens it really looks like he is just casually checking up on you to make sure you’re ok. Now that statement leads me to say that foxy is not REALLY the bad one before i get further into this I want to back this up by saying that the marionette in five nights at Freddy’s TWO might be the one controlling the other animatronics. Now the reason i think this is because one of the times you die it plays you a little mini game one of them is the marionette face along with the shadow that comes when you shine the light in the music box room when it’s a sliver away from empty it shows the marionette face hanging down along with a shadow on the wall. So back to the mini game part, it clearly shows the marionette going along giving presents then it shows giving life or just leaving bonnie the bunny Chica the duck foxy the fox pirate then Freddy, which brings me to think that the MARIANETTE created the 4 animatronics which means that when foxy leaps at you in five nights at Freddy’s 2 he is saying something. After about replaying it in slow motion 100 times, i came up with this. When foxy leaps at you, he is saying FREE U-
and cuts out before saying FREE US. And that’s what I mean by "foxy is not the bad guy" so are not the other animatronics they just want to leave from the marionettes grasp that’s why they want your help.
