This is the result of 2 and a half hours on GIMP 2.6 trying to recreate the GIMP starting screen. Its not exactly the same and i'm certainly not an expert graphics artist (this is my first attempt), but i'm very pleased with the outcome. Also, I know there have been many other wallpaper showcases but im not trying to out-do anyone.

Plz comment and diamond if you like or have advice. :D
