there are many nice realizm texture packs about these days and are very high quality.

but have you ever wonderd how real the textures look?

for example: minecraft lapis textures tend to be smooth and deep blue. in real life, lapis is rather jagged and sharp (see picture). my paticular peice of lapis has small amounts of gold in it so it isnt entirely pure.

but anyway, thats my texture advice :)
