What is this?
Have you ever felt that you need to go and do something but your mind says keep playing this game?
Well this is what that is about.
We need to try and control it.
Everyone has had that moment where they need to go to the toilet but they want to keep playing they're game. Even I have.
But this is something we need to control. Horrible things have happened because of gaming addiction.
How does this affect me?
Gaming addiction is very serious. It's nothing to laugh about.
If you are addicted to a video game tell someone. Don't leave it other wise it will get worse.
Once something terrible happened because of gaming addiction. I wouldn't usually tell this but I'm going to to help stop this addiction.
Once there were a couple (married) and they were hard core addicted gamers like some of you are.
They had a baby and as soon as they got back from the hospital after giving birth the mother put the baby in her bed and she went back to gaming with her husband. 3 days later she went to have a nap and she smelt something gross.
It was her baby. He had starved to death.
That's one reason why I'm posting this. We really need to stop it.
How can I put a stop to my or my friend/family's addiction?
1. Talk to the person with the addiction. If it is you Try spending 1 hour less of computer everyday until it is 1 hour per day like me.
2. Play outside. Get some sun.
3. Try and forget about video games. Spend your time with nature or drawing. Maybe even reading.
4. If you don't have a job (You most likely won't because of the addiction or for whoever has the addiction) go and get a job. NOT ONLINE THOUGH! Look in the newspaper for people hiring for something that you'd like to do.
5.Make friends. Get a social life. Play with your friends or talk (Depends how old you are)
Last Notes:
Remember games are spreading all around the world. Gran parents play them. 3 year old's play them! ( I know because my brother plays his 3DS lots.)
Also try and spread the word of addiction with your friends and family.
