Been away for a while due to computer having gone fitz. With limited time on library computer I've focused mainly on honing my survival skills and small build skills... but this isn't about all that.

No this blog is to explain how to trap a creeper or any other 2 tall 1 wide mob... and 1x1 mobs for everything from farming to home decor.

Now I saw how to originaly do this using creative mode and thaught "How would I do the same thing in survival?" So I fiddle around and came up with the below:

Now it is important not to forget the web when doing the larger trap otherwise the mobs will walk right over it. You need not worry about the web it'll break when the glass is pushed into the same block space giving you the peice of string it would normaly drop when broken by a sword.

Once traped you can walk right up to creepers and they won't explode, be weary with other mobs, can't garentee they won't hurt you through the glass.

If you grow tired of your pet you can put it down without breaking the glass. If you wish to release it simply place a sticky piston to pull out the couldrun.

In the case of the chicken trap, no web is needed, chickes are freaking dumb and will walk right into them many times on their own..

If you set either up with a hopper underneath it'll grab any eggs the chicken lays or mob drops should the mob die.

Don't bother trying with an ederman, they just teleport out.
